If you live in a home built before 1973 it's possible that your sewage piples are infested

If you live in a home built before 1973 it's possible that your sewage piples are infested with thousands of roots from vegetation. The old pipes were made of clay. Clay being just another form of dirt makes it easy for roots to invade and plug your pipes. Then, when you least expect it, your toilet backs up and you have a bad day.
